A seasoned, dynamic, passionate, and detail-oriented Human Resources Director to be a key company leader driving many of the components that make XenoPsi a great place to work and build a career.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Director of Human Resources will partner and collaborate with senior leadership to focus on driving the organization’s goals and strategy related to culture, retention, and growth.
Support New York-based and Distributed Team Members in the U.S. and across more than a dozen countries.
Scale up our HR operations, including onboarding and training, benefits, performance reviews, and all elements of the company-Team Member relationship. Select, lead, coach, and develop the HR team, business partners, and recruiters.
Employee Relations & Promote A Positive Work Culture
- Assertively develop strong partner/advisor relationship with all leaders across the company
- Be available to all Team Members to respond to issues and concerns with empathy and effectiveness
- Actively engage in problem/conflict resolution, coaching, counseling, training and career development
- Partner with the leadership teams to support daily business functions and optimize workflow, intergroup performance and organizational effectiveness
- Advise management on organizational structure.
- Implement people, culture and engagement programs
Recruiting
- Working with leaders across the new companies, meet staffing needs efficiently, timely, and professionally.
- Direct, plan, and manage recruiting activities, including position posting, hiring, reclassification, salary setting, job descriptions, and payroll
- Review and screen departmental requests for new positions and reclassification to determine the completeness of information;
- Coordinate and manage recruitment, screening, and interviewing of applicants for positions
Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, Policies and Procedures
- Advise leadership and administer all elements of total compensation and performance management policies and processes
- Define workplace policies, procedures and compliance across all teams
- recommend various personnel action including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisal, salary analyses, disciplinary action, and vacation schedules
Operations
- Administer payroll and related systems
- Manage the portfolio of business insurance policies to ensure smooth operation of the company with appropriate risk-management
- Manage and maintain compliance with employment-related regulations
- Provides guidance to all employees and administrative staff that book travel on consistent processes and policies
- Management of NYC Office, Landlord-Tenant Issues
- Supervise designated employees
QUALIFITCATIONS:
- 15 + years of progressive experience as an HR Director, preferably in an agency setting.
- BS/BA (MBA or MS/MA preferred) from an accredited university in the HR or related field of studies.
